Clubs and Activities

Anime Club
Art Club
The Art Club is designed for the focus and interests of all involved students. We host monthly intensives focusing on select art making techniques in a multitude of disciplines.  We help decorate for holidays, school functions and lend our expertise to other clubs as well.  We create illustrations for The Voice of IC and other fun activities.
Campus Ministry
Campus Ministry is a service provided to help students grow in their personal faith as well as learn about the different social justice issues that face our world. Additionally, the club seeks to organize service projects that benefit both the school and our local community and spreads the message of God's love to all, especially the poor and needy.
Concert Choir
Technology Team
Focuses on the exploration of the use of computers through programming, graphic design, film/music editing, gaming etc. Students discuss updates on latest software, technologies, and the social implications of young people's changing access to information and content.
Engineering Club
One aim of the club is to raise awareness of the different types of engineering. We also hope to do experiments and build robots. We will attend the Engineering Day hosted by NJIT. There will be engineers coming in as guest speakers.
Games Club
The Games Club invites all IC students to participate in a relaxing, fun-filled extracurricular activity. The club gives students from all grade levels a chance to interact with their peers, demonstrate their skills, and discover new games and talents. The club's leaders are discussing the possibility of tournaments for individual games.
Honor Societies

“The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921.”Immaculate sophomores, juniors and seniors are eligible for NHS when they have met the requirements of the society. NHS induction in held in the spring of the academic year.

Peer Ministry

The purpose of the Peer Ministry class is to enable freshmen to adjust to high school life most effectively. The Peer Ministers are seniors who volunteer to help the freshmen with this adjustment. Meeting with a group of freshmen each week, the peer partners engage the freshmen in discussion and activities which cover issues such as bullying, friendship, self-esteem, communication, conflict resolution and academic motivation and achievement. The program has been part of ICHS tradition since 1994 and has added a deeper dimension to the understanding of Immaculate’s family.
