Letter From Mrs. Degnan

Dear IC Family,

In September of 1994 I walked into Room 201 and fell in love with the students of

Immaculate Conception High School.  Soon I recognized the devotion of their families and the

dedication of my fellow teachers.

Since that time my experiences with students, parents, and faculty have brought me

great joy. This has been a wonderful gift, one many would envy: to love your job!

Yet, even the best experiences have an end date and mine is this June.  It is time for me

to bid farewell to the halls and classrooms of IC and I do so with deep gratitude for a wonderful

twenty years.

Mrs. Honohan and the Board of Trustees, along with the Search Committee, have

chosen Ms. Michelle Neves as the new principal.  Ms. Neves comes to IC with many years of

experience as an educator and administrator and understands the mission of Immaculate.  I

know that she will receive a warm welcome from all the IC family.

Many lives have touched mine in the past twenty years and I am a better person for

having known each one.

May God keep you all in His hands.

Mrs. Jo Ann Degnan
